Today, the GROUPE LEPINE research and development main lines consist in associating not only the preservation of its traditional know-how in the instrument manufacturing, but also the research of new means (articular prosthesis) in order to improve the patient comfort and to make easier the surgeon work. For instance: anatomical hip prosthesis and ergonomical instruments, radio sterilized and lyophilised bone, resorbant products...

The majority of the new products are designed with practitioners and university research centres: kinematics, biomechanics, new materials and surface treatments.
