Distal Radius Prosthesis COBRA™

The COBRA™ is a radial head hemiarthroplasty prosthesis for the wrist.

In autonomous elderly patients, it is indicated for very comminuted non-synthesisable fractures of the distal radius.

The implant is available in right and left versions to reproduce the offset of the asymmetrical shape of the radius and radial styloid.

The anatomical prosthesis is available in either cementable or non-cementable versions along with a double coating of porous titanium and hydroxyapatite.

Operating techniques

2 lateral fins ensure the stability of the implant.

The holes on each of the fins allow a suture for bone fragments.

The range of cementless implants includes 2 sizes.

If the bone quality is poor, a cemented implant can be used to keep the length of the radius.

Dedicated instrumentation is simple and requires few instruments.
