femoral stem INTEGRA™

The INTEGRA™ modular femoral stem for cementless revisions and reconstruction, in titanium alloy, responds to cases of significant bone loss requiring a specific support.

Its 12/14 taper allows for a wide selection of femoral heads: short, medium or long necks, 22.2 or 28 mm diameter, in stainless steel, CoCr, Ceralepine or Biolox Delta alumina.

A bioactive titanium-hydroxyapatite bilayer coating is applied using a vacuum plasma spray technique with an excellent industrial control.

Operating techniques

Capture1.JPG

Optimum stability of the stem through:

- an anatomical diaphysis with star section ;

- placement, if necessary, of 2 wedges in the distal portion through a locking instrument.

Capture2.JPG

Modularity of metaphyseal block to effectively combat dislocation through anteversion control: a Morse taper (12/14) with rack and pinion allows its adjustment 15° by 15°.

Variety of metaphyseal block heights and stems (including a cemented range) to respond to various femoral anatomies and bone loss situations, especially tumour surgery.
